Anchoring Ships – Simple Moorings
Greensticks can offer a very safe mooring
solution and are ideal for providing extra
temporary seasonal capacity for marinas,
coastal harbours, lakes and rivers.
The temporary nature of the additional
moorings would alleviate the need for
planning permission and would not
impact on the environment.
The Greenstick offers a new, unique, secure anchoring system which is suitable for all sea conditions. Traditional
anchors are susceptible to dragging, especially in heavy seas.
Greensticks can be used to anchor small craft and can be scaled up to accommodate larger vessels such as cruise
liners, tankers and industrialised vessels either temporarily or permanently.
The Greenstick is screwed into the sea or river bed thereby eliminating the possibility of dragging anchor.
Smaller Greensticks can be deployed manually and larger ones via a simple drilling operation.
